MusicGoblins is a family of friendly, offline Windows music-learning tools built for people who want useful guidance without accounts, subscriptions, telemetry, or cloud audio processing.

BUILT TO TEACH, NOT RUSH

The structured courses use repeated rounds, older-skill review loops, troubleshooting, readiness checks, and encouraging goblin trash talk. Free-practice modes remain available when you want to explore instead of following the path.

LOCAL BY DESIGN

Your microphone, instrument, and MIDI input stay on your computer. MusicGoblins has no account requirement, telemetry, advertising, or uploaded audio. Internet access is not required after installation.

CURRENT BUILDS

MusicGoblins Suite 0.8.0 for 64-bit Windows 10/11 includes all six teachers and the family launcher.

TuneGoblin 0.3.0 is the same tuner from the suite, packaged as its own standalone Windows tool.

A microphone or audio interface is useful for TuneGoblin, FretGoblin, VoiceGoblin, and BassGoblin. BeatGoblin and KeyGoblin use MIDI input.

BassGoblin's curriculum, pitch math, synthesized signal checks, and packaging are validated, but we did not have a physical bass during development. The app is visibly marked BASSISTS WANTED until structured real-instrument testing is completed.

MusicGoblins is licensed under the exact PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0. Personal, hobby, educational, charitable, government, and other noncommercial use is free.

Resale, paid redistribution, inclusion in paid products or services, hosted paid access, and paid managed-service use require a separate written commercial license from Stryker Labs. Stryker Labs retains the right to sell its own copies, services, and commercial licenses.
